Local Boy Scouts collect food for less fortunate
Local boy scout troop and pack 281 collected food from Manchester residents as part of their 2009 Scouting for Food Campaign. The scouts dropped off more than 450 units of food to the Northside Common Ministries on Brighton Road.
Part of the goal for scouts is to learn a sense of community, communication skills and a responsibility to others through this project.
The scouts included in these pictures are:
Roberto Booker, Michael Kisner, Robert Brown, Anthony Waters and Webelo Leader Anthony Waters Jr. and Scout Leader Alan Perry.
Perry said that the scouts would like to thank the residents of Manchester and Bidwell Church for all their help and support during the food drive.
