Campaganza2010, an event presented by the Boy Scouts of America councils of the Northeast Region, will be held from Sept. 24-26 at Morraine State Park, Butler, Pa. An official opening ceremony on Saturday will kick-off the three-day camping extravaganza, but thousands of boy scouts are expected to begin camping this evening. A wide array of sporting and outdoor activities are planned, including rowing, ultimate Frisbee, geocaching, and a punt, pass and kick challenge will take place tomorrow afternoon. The event culminates with an arena highlighting 100 years of scouting on Saturday evening. In addition, national music acts Smash Mouth All Star and Tyler Bryant Rock Prophecies will perform before fireworks close the ceremony. Registration is only available on-site at Morraine State Park for current scouts. For more information and for the schedule of events, directions and more, visit www.campaganza.org.
