Pitt makes a difference in Troy Hill
On Saturday, Oct. 16, 82 students from the University of Pittsburgh and 15 Troy Hill residents gathered to “redd up” the neighborhood.
25 volunteers worked on the neighborhood Garden Project. They built 10 raised flower beds and unloaded and spread three truckloads of mulch and soil.
The remaining 57 volunteers cleaned up every street in the neighborhood. They gathered 40 bags of trash and several tires in the space of 2 hours.
