In conjunction with the NHL’s Winter Classic game between the Penguins and Washington Capitals on Jan. 1 at Heinz Field on the North Shore, the Carnegie Science Center is hosting a Hockey Hall of Fame Exhibit, which will include the Stanley Cup.

The Hockey Hall of Fame exhibit will run Dec. 27 to 31, but the Stanley Cup will only be on display Dec. 30 and 31, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.  Hours for the exhibit on other days are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Tickets include admission to the rest of the Science Center and cost $17.95 for adults and $9.95 for children.

The exhibit will include every trophy ever won by the Pittsburgh Penguins, as well as memorabilia from top players like Mario Lemieux and Sidney Crosby, among others, and a display of mementos from the Pittsburgh Hornets hockey team.

The Pens aren’t the only team that will get “ice time” at the exhibit, though, and other displays will feature the Washington Capitals and the United States’s Team U.S.A. men’s and women’s teams.

“This is a really exciting time for the Science Center,” said Science Center Co-Director Ron Baillie in a press release. “We are so grateful to the Pittsburgh Penguins for making it possible for us to be part of the Winter Classic festivities in a way that really reflects our pride in the Penguins.”
