Meeting on city snow removal plan Jan. 27
After canceling a community meeting on the city’s new snow removal plan because of snow last Thursday, city officials have rescheduled the meeting to tomorrow night.
A press release stated:
The City of Pittsburgh’s Public Works and Emergency Management Departments announced that they will be holding four citywide community meetings in order to update the public on the City’s improved snow operations and Winter Storm Emergency Plan.
At the meetings, department representatives will present the City’s new snow operations during a declared snow emergency and indicate how the plan will affect residents. In addition, representatives will be available to take questions.
The Northside meeting takes place tomorrow, Jan. 27 at 6:30 p.m. at the Northside Senior Center in Allegheny Center. The other three meetings took place as scheduled last week.
