Why is it important to vote?

“We’re a republic and some people don’t enjoy the freedoms that we have. I’m going to see my father at the hospital now — he’s a veteran — and every time I see my father’s face, I’m reminded of the sacrifice he made,” said Fulton Miklos, pictured below at the Lynn Williams Apartments poll in Brighton Heights.

Who do you think will win the city council election?

“Darlene Harris. She’s the incumbent and has a lot of support in District 1,” Miklos added.

Who do you think will win the election?

“I’m voting for Vince Pallus for City Council. He’s a very good person in my perspective, and I think he’ll do good things” said Patrick Kirby (pictured below, right, with friend Steven Hughes) in Brighton Heights.
