It’s hot.
Yesterday the Allegheny County health department sent out a warning that the “extreme heat and humidity forcast for the next few days can pose serious health problems” for at risk groups like children and the elderly. And with forcasts in the 90s all week, we’re in this heatwave for the long haul.
Try to stay cool in The Northside hanging out in air-conditioned coffee shops, Riverview Park’s pool or cool off in the Allegheny library branch for Sizzlin’ Cinema on Tuesdays and Wii Gaming on Thursdays.
Or just pick up a Northside Chronicle and fan yourself like crazy!
