AGH looking volunteers
For college and high school students interested in the medical field or just looking to get some volunteer hours, Allegheny General Hospital is now accepting applications for its volunteer program.
AGH offers a Junior Volunteer Program to high school students ages 16 to 18 in the summer and requires a minimum commitment of 60 hours. Volunteers can assist patients, do clerical work or hospital support work.
The College Student Volunteer program is for students 18 years or older and runs year round. College volunteers can work in the emergency department, nursing unit, occupational therapy, operating room, patient transportation, physical therapy or research department.
All volunteers receive complimentary parking and lunch.
The volunteer application for general volunteers can be found at http://www.wpahs.org/locations/allegheny-general-hospital/volunteering
