Manchester Academic Charter school celebrates the season
Students at Manchester Academic Charter School got into the spirit of the season in late November and donated 40 boxes of food to a local food bank.
“We just think it’s important to teach the kids about giving back and doing good work in their community,” said Vasilios Scoumis, chief executive officer at MACS.
Students collected nonperishable food at school and at the Brighton Heights Giant Eagle.
“Every kid in the building brought something,” said Scoumis.
