Pittsburgh Schiller 6-8 staff surprised students as they arrived to school on Friday, April 25th, with a rally-like celebration in front of school.
They passed out cookies and school supplies to encourage students to finish strong and attend every day for the last 30 days of school. Volunteers from the United Way and Bank of America, also came out to cheer on Schiller students as they arrived to school.
Each student received a bag with pencils, erasers and an official “Be There” bracelet. One Schiller parent made cookies decorated with “30.” As a reward, students who are present between April 28 through May 30 will be permitted to dress down for the last week of school.
