Urban Rain Garden Gathering a ‘huge success’
Beth Hutton from the Northside Leadership Conference and project manager for the Brighton Road Corridor Vacant Land Project said the Urban Rain Garden Gathering on Saturday, May 24 was a huge success.
Volunteers worked at Brighton Road and Charles Street planting new flowers and grass, spread top soil and mulch, and also picked up litter.
Hutton said there were 15 volunteers that worked from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. to improve the vacant lot.
