Local dance artist Maree ReMalia and her company, merrygogo, will perform their latest show, The Ubiquitous Mass of Us, on the Northside for the very first time.
ReMalia and merrygogo will perform at the New Hazlett Theater, 6 Allegheny Square East, on Saturday June 14, at 8 p.m.
The performance is part of the Community Supported Art Performance Series, which started June 11 and will continue until August 14.
According to the New Hazlett Theater website, the CSA Performance Series is based off a “community supported agriculture.” People can become a “shareholder” for $100 and support the six performances featured in the performance series.
Tickets, which are being sold for $20 in advance and $25 at the door, are half off for Northside residents. Northside patrons can purchase their discount tickets online by using the coupon code “COMMUNITY” or mention the discount at the door.
ReMalia’s choreography – which she works on with “shifting collaborators” according to the New Hazlett Theater website – has been featured in Cleveland Public Theater’s Big Box and DanceWorks series, movement research at the Judson Church, PearlArts Studio Artists-in-Residence Series, 60×60, SpringUp Dance Festival and the Williamsburg Free Fest.
