New Hazlett Theater to host free shows this weekend

Allegheny Center’s New Hazlett Theater will be offering free admission to two shows this upcoming week in Wayward Land (Thursday, Feb. 12th at 8 p.m.) and Remainder | Northside (Sunday, Feb. 15th from 2-4 p.m.)
Wayward Land is part of the CSA performance series. Jil Stifel and Ben Sota created this show to be a half-dance, half-circus performance. The generous support from the Buhl Foundation enabled Northsiders to get free tickets to the show, which has already sold out.
Attack Theatre is presenting Remainder | Northside and giving Northsiders a free previewing before its world premiere this coming June.
“This project uses a dialogue-based process with Northside youth to spark artistic inspiration and the creation of original dance and music. Remainder | Northside is a process of listening, responding, and creating. The final performance is what remains,” the press release explained.
During the afternoon, Northsiders will have the opportunity to learn more about the project and meet the team behind it.
Tickets will be available at the door.
