Employment, wellness program to be offered in Manchester
Generations Realizing Occupational Wellness (GROW) is a new program of statewide non-profit Pennsylvania Women Work dedicated to empowering individuals in career transition through job readiness, emotional growth, education, training and employment will be offering classes at Manchester’s St Vincent de Paul, according to a press release.
The program offers free assistance to low-income mothers and fathers, ages 18-35, who are seeking to gain more education, secure better jobs and achieve financial independence. GROW participants learn how to set personal career goals, seek jobs online, make a better impression at interviews, manage household finances and balance parenting and childcare with other family needs.
