Career fair at Perry High

Job seekers, young and old, will have a chance to put themselves in front of potential employers during the Opportunity Fair at Perry High March 15 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
“It is important for the city’s youth to know that there are great opportunities for blue and white collar jobs on the Northside and throughout the Pittsburgh region,” Councilwoman Darlene Harris said in a statement. “I encourage both parents and students to attend.”
Over a dozen employers and recruiters will be on site looking to hire promising, young students and experienced adults. The event is open to the public. Building Bridges for Business and Pittsburgh Public Schools are co-hosts.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a resume with them and apply for any desirable positions. Some of the 15-plus employers include Manchester Bidwell Corp., Rosedale Technical College, Allegheny Health Network, UPS, US District Court, and other local Northside businesses.
