After its first successful terrarium workshop, Scratch Food & Beverage, 1720 Lowrie St., will hold its second workshop on Sunday, June 5 at 5 p.m.
Scratch employees Mandi Crosby and Athena C.E. will guide attendee’s on creating an “Under the Sea” themed terrarium and provide everything needed to build it.
“About 30 guests attended our last workshop and created some really amazing works of art,” Athena said. “We would love to keep holding these classes with different themes: zen garden, creepy cemetery, fairytale, you name it.”
The class includes glassware, “brightly colored coral reef accoutrements, shells, tiny ocean creatures,” and a succulent plant.
Tickets are $50 per person, or $53 if attendees would like to add a second succulent to their terrarium. Tickets include the workshop and a heavy assortment of appetizers. Those wishing to attend can purchase a ticket at Scratch or over the phone using a credit card.
