The Birds and the Beers at the Aviary
Friday, July 1 the National Aviary will host “The Birds and the Beers,” an event that was concocted by War Streets Brewery, which is hoping to open by the end of the summer.
The event will run from 6:30 – 10 p.m. Tickets are $60 and include all Aviary exhibitions, a tasting glass, drinks, food, and music by Groove Academy.
Besides War Streets Brewery, others include: Penn Brewery, VooDoo Brewery, Shubrew, and Grist House Craft Brewery. Wigle Whiskey will also be pouring spirits and food will be provided by Atria’s.
Jake Bier, owner of War Streets Brewery, said the event “will be an awesome night to spend on the Northside.”
There will be vegetarian and carnivorous options food options. Beer and food stations will also be scattered around the Aviary, so people can wander through the building and keep eating and drinking as they go, Bier said.
War Streets Brewery will be pouring at the Manchester Block Party on Sunday, July 17. They also serve beer once a month at Wigle Whiskey for their weekly Sonntag event.
