Allen Place Family Life Center, 227 Bonvue St., will begin “Operation Uplift Stroke” on Thursday, July 14 and will continue the classes every 2^nd and 4^th Thursday of the month for 10 months from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The classes are structured for those who are caregivers, ambassadors, or survivors of a stroke. Allen Place asks that if you have suffered from a stroke or know someone who has to please pass on this information.

“The classes will provide a blend of health care professional and lifestyle support to help you improve your quality of life,” according to an email sent out by Allen Place.

Trained medical professionals will be onsite to teach each class. Funding for the program come from the Highmark Foundation.
