On Tuesday, August 2, a special screening of the documentary “Manchester Growing Together” will be shown at City of Asylum’s Alphabet City tent, 318 Sampsonia Way.
Free and open to the public, the documentary will run from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. and showcase the farm as it “is recognized as a model throughout the City of Pittsburgh,” according to an email from COA Outreach Coordinator Lisa Freeman.
“The garden/farm is highly acclaimed and has been celebrated for its best practices in environmental stewardship, educational pioneering, juvenile justice remediation, and community service involvement,” Freeman said in an email.
