The Northside, and Pittsburgh in general, is known to be home to some gnarly hills. The staircases are no different.

At 8:30 a.m. this Saturday, Fineview Citizens Council will host the 21st Annual Fineview Step Challenge, a five mile urban hike up 12 of the neighborhood staircases. That is a total of over 1,600 steps, including the staircase on Rising Main Avenue with 337 steps, which is comparable to climbing a 17-story building.
