June 24 was the perfect summer day, not one of the overly humid dog days of summer. But the North Shore was considered a dog day thanks to the first, and soon-to-be annual, Bark N’ At event presented by VCA Animal Hospitals.
Animal Friends pulled some strings and closed the Roberto Clemente Bridge for a few hours and let the canines control the street for a bit. Along the bridge were pupperozzi stations with wardrobe changes, paw printing and even a pup-parade led by Mocha and Animal Fiends board member Jim Krenn.
Bark N’At saw pups and peeps enjoying music, games and even in matching outfits all for a good cause. The black and gold event has plans to return every year thanks to its supporters and attendees.
