Northside vs. The Outside III
The third annual boxing match will be at The Priory’s Grand Hall. Watch Steel City Boxing Gym’s finest take on challengers from gyms all over the Greater Pittsburgh area. RADical Days at Manchester Craftsman Guild
Swing down to the Bidwell Training Center in Chateau from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. for hands-on crafts, live jazz music, gallery talks and refreshments. The event is free of admission, for more information visit the event’s FB page.
Fig Fest
Looking for a little taste of early autumn fun? Wigle Whiskey Barrelhouse in Spring Garden will be hosting their annual Fig Fest 5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Tango food truck will be on site, fig-infused cocktails will be served and live music will be provided by Nightly Standard. Children’s performance of “Boundless” at New Hazlett Theater

One PA PGH Community Meeting
One Pennsylvania will be holding a community meeting at 841 California Avenue from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event is free and will hold an open discussion towards benefits for low-income families and the fight against poverty. Grievous Angels at James Street Gastropub

Sunday, October 1
3-2-1 Ride
The fifth annual 3-2-1 Ride will kick-off on the North Shore at 6 a.m. The event features a 7-mile trail ride, 23-mile city ride and a 62-mile ride through the Great Allegheny Passage. Each ride starts at the Heinz Field Quay and all proceeds will go to The Woiner Foundation to help increase melanoma and pancreatic cancer awareness and prevention.
