Burgers ‘n Beers

Big Band New Year Dance at the Elks
Swing into 2018 at the Elks Lodge in Historic Deustchtown as they host a Big Band celebration from 7:15 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The cover is $10 and is sponsored by the Jazz Conspiracy. For more information visit the event’s FB page.

Amateur Astronomers Association of Pittsburgh Meeting
The Amateur Astronomers Association of Pittsburgh will be holding their monthly meeting at Carnegie Science Center from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. The event will feature stargazing and an open-discussion with NASA Space Weather Forecaster, Anna Voelker. Walk of Shame concert at Rivers Casino

Sarah Halter at the Park House

ARTLab at the Mattress Factory
Joshua Challen Ice will be leading the first ARTLab of this month at the Mattress Factory. Guests will have a chance to interact with Ice and work on a variety of craft projects. Owl Cafe at Threadbare
Threadbare Cider and Mead will be hosting an Owl Cafe from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Humane Animal Wildlife Rescue Center will have an owl on site along with performing a free education session that is both free and kid-friendly. Sahaja Mediation at the Allegheny Carnegie Library
