Tripoli Street Bridge to re-open
The Tripoli St. Bridge is expected to re-open Thursday, February 15 at 3 p.m.
According to a news release from PennDOT, the Tripoli St. Bridge will re-open at 3 p.m. today. The bridge has been closed since December 13, 2017, in part of the $87.94 million I-279 Parkway North Improvement Project.
Motorists can expect left lane closures from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the intersections of East St. and Tripoli St. along with Madison Ave. and Tripoli St., so construction crews can remove barriers and effectively re-open the roadway to thru traffic.
PennDOT also announced that the North Canal St. and Route 28 on-ramp and the Fort Duquesne Bridge will experience shoulder restrictions weekdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. No timetable or end date was given.
