Northside Sandwich Week Kick-off

The Day the Earth Stood Still at Rangos Giant Cinema

It is Sci-Fi Sunday — that’s a thing, right? Well, it is now, at least. Rangos Giant Cinema will be hosting a special screening of the 1951 classic, “The Day the Earth Stood Still.” Pittsburgh-based musician Ben Opie will be on site and will perform the movie’s introductory theme with the theremin, an electronic instrument used to compose a majority of the film’s score.
