VegFest returns to Pittsburgh in August
VegFest returns to Pittsburgh on Saturday, August 4 in Allegheny Commons Park East.

VegFest brings together Pittsburgh animal lovers and plant-based food fanatics to enjoy some of the city’s best vegan food options. The fourth annual free outdoor festival is hosted by Justice for Animals, a non-profit organization that advocates for animal rights and celebrates veganism and sustainable living. For the past two years, the festival’s delicious vegan eats earned them the title of “Best Food-Related Festival” by the Pittsburgh City Paper.
In addition to a wide array of vegan fare, VegFest will feature cruelty-free merchandise vendors with products ranging from skincare to dog treats, live music performances from Pittsburgh local artists, informational speakers, and animal welfare organizations.
Yoga and massage will be available throughout the day to highlight mindfulness as a vital part of a sustainable lifestyle. Also, family-friendly activities will be provided for children, including a bouncy castle, crafts, and face painting.
Join Justice for Animals and fellow Northsiders at this year’s VegFest to cultivate and celebrate all aspects of sustainable living. The festival lasts from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
