Corningworks Glue Factory Project at New Hazlett Theater

A unique sensory experience, an evening wherein you’ll be suspended
between shadow and light, grounded and floating, a surreal landscape of movement, light sound, and meaning. Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser at Providence Connections

Stop by Providence Connections at 3113 Brighton Rd., 15212, for a spaghetti dinner to raise funds for a brand new outdoor classroom. Dinner is from 4 to 7 p.m. It’s a self-serve buffet with family-style seating. Take out is available. Adults are $8 and children under 12 are $5. The All-In Silent Disco at the Children’s Museum

A dance party with a twist: DJs will play music into headphones that all attendees receive upon arrival courtesy of Frequency-528! Vibrating backpacks and floor panels mean everyone can feel the music and have a great time regardless of ability. DJ Mateo Mattos, Stephanie Tsong from the Jellyfish crew, and Arie Cole will be dishing out the music and Bea Taco Town will be dishing out the tacos with beer tastings provided by Fresh Fest Beer Fest. Steel City Slackers at Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh

Join Rachel and Cassie of the Steel City Slackers from 12 to 3 p.m. in the Children’s Museum Studio to explore balance in a whole new way! Watch, play and learn the fundamentals of slacklining as they are taught and demonstrated on an indoor slackline for all levels and ages. Prop play, visual art, and character acting all come together in this workshop to give you an understanding of yourself and the world you live in. Whether it is a balloon, a scarf, or a red nose, you will take the tools of the common clown and explore their possibilities and their meaning to you.
