Rivers Casino Hiring Event

Immediate openings for full and part-time. Event will take place on the 2nd Floor Event Center from 10AM-6PM. Candidates are encouraged to complete an online application in advance and to bring an updated resume, dress in business attire and bring your best accessories—a smile and a positive attitude. In Your Business: Northside Artist Meet-and-Greet

In collaboration with the Associated Artists Pittsburgh and Allegheny General Hospital, this is an excellent opportunity to network with other Northsiders while meeting 10-12 Northside artists and seeing samples of their work in a temporary exhibit. The artists will be available from 5:30 to 8 p.m. to discuss sale or commission of their work with any interested parties. $15 for chamber members, $20 for non-members. Northside Land Lab at CoLab18

Spring into the Summer with Grounded’s FREE Land Lab workshop series. So far the discussion has been about: Part 1: How to acquire and adopt a vacant lot in the city of Pittsburgh. Artist Talk w/ Cara Livorio at AIR

This event is for those who missed the Opening Reception, or for those who’d like to come back and see the B(L)OOM! exhibition. Riverview Park Trail Work Day

Have fun, get dirty, and improve the Riverview trails for all the dog walkers and bike riders and trail runners and bird watchers and nature lovers of the Northside from 9 a.m. to noon on the last Saturday every month–with coffee provided by Commonplace! WHAT TO BRING: pants and long sleeves, boots and gloves, and tools if you got ’em. Hosted by Trail Pittsburgh, Friends of Riverview Park, and the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy. Tunch and Wolf’s Walk for the Homeless

Tunch and Wolf’s Walk for the Homeless is an annual 10K walk on the North Side, hosted by former Pittsburgh Steelers Tunch Ilkin and Craig Wolfley. Join Tunch and Wolf as they walk Pittsburgh’s historic North Side to raise awareness and financial support for Light of Life Rescue Mission. Moishe House Pittsburgh Picnic at Randyland

Join Moishe House Pittsburgh from 1 to 4 p.m. at Randyland in the Northside, because Spring and Pittsburgh are beautiful and you should take advantage of both! Moishe House events are intended for young adults age 22 – 32. Moishe House Pittsburgh was founded in 2012. Planting Party – Garden Committee

Join Brighton Heights Citizens Federation every Saturday in May to plant the 12 Brighton Heights gardens! THEY CAN NOT DO THIS WITHOUT YOU!!! They have a variety of tasks, something for everyone. So if you have bad knees or allergies don’t let that keep you away. All of the garden events will start at 9 AM, rain or shine (the flowers don’t mind rain and it saves the watering task).
