Small Business Workshop at Penn Brewery
The Northside Community Development Fund (NSCDF) is holding a workshop for Northsiders interested in starting their own business. Community residents can stop by Penn Brewery, located at 800 Vinial St., 15212, to learn about the funding opportunities NSCDF offers for start-up and existing businesses located on Pittsburgh’s Northside. USB CSV Community Garden 1st B’Day

Kickoff Event for Citiparks Summer Food Service Program
Join for the kid friendly KICKOFF Event for the Citiparks Summer Food Service Program 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.!!! This FREE Event will have the Mobile Food Truck on hand to serve lunch to all the kids! Public Meeting: Four Mile Run Stormwater Improvement Project and Mon-Oakland Mobility Project
Join the City and PWSA for a project update and share your ideas. The Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority (PWSA) and the City of Pittsburgh’s Department of Mobility and Infrastructure (DOMI) will hold a Public Meeting on the Four Mile Run Stormwater Improvement Project and the Mon-Oakland Mobility Project. The purpose of the Public Meeting is to update attendees on the progress and current status of the projects and encourage input throughout. Off-Minor Jazz : Mary Lou Williams at Alphabet City
Mary Lou Williams’ music transcends time in American culture. With a foundation in the Blues, Mary Lou’s compositions reflect her life as a Black woman and a true triumph of the human spirit. NYC Pianist Deanna Witkowski will join bassist Jeff Grubbs and drummer Thomas Wendt in this program celebrating the music of Mary Lou Williams. The Off Minor Jazz Series highlights the music of legendary jazz composers and players. The series has been curated by drummer Thomas Wendt, who puts together the right musicians for each concert. Stride for Pride 5K
Stride for Pride 5K is coming back to the Pittsburgh community on June 23, 2019! The 5K run/walk and kids dash will be held on the North Shore @ North Shore Park/the Great Lawn. VIRTUAL 5K option added this year! Community Flea Market in Observatory Hill
The Five Points Business District committee will be hosting a community flea market in the parking lot of Perry High School, 3875 Perrysville Ave., from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. All proceeds will benefit the third annual Observatory Hill Light Up Night event. Stop by and see what treasures you can find while supporting our business district. Vendors, sellers and volunteers are needed.
