Pittsburgh Pirates, Steelers, and Panthers fans can satisfy their appetites and get ready to cheer on their teams with the many restaurants and bars surrounding PNC Park and Heinz Field. Here’s a look at some of them.

Rally House

A poster of Pittsburgh Pirate Chris Archer greets patrons as they enter Rally House. It encourages them to dress up and come ready to play at PNC Park and Heinz Field. Baseball caps, t-shirts, sweatshirts, glasses, mugs, cups, and plates with Pittsburgh sports logos are available. There are also large photographs, pennants, license plates, and signs advertising the names of Pittsburgh sports teams. Ty Richardson, assistant manager of Rally House, said that customers can find any item for local sports teams at the store.

“Customers will experience a hometown feel,” said Richardson. Pittsburgh sports fans can find Pittsburgh sports items any time of the year.

“All year round it’s a one-stop shop,” said Richardson.

Jerome Bettis’ Grille 36

Located adjacent to the Heinz Field end zone, Jerome Bettis’ Grille 36 has small TVs, art work, Pittsburgh team shirts, and bobbleheads plus appetizer, lunch, dinner, and dessert items. Art, including pencil sketches and huge, colorful paintings of Jerome Bettis fill the entrance and large bar area of the eatery. Chips, burgers, steak,
chicken, and fish are the feature foods of Grille 36. Each food item comes fresh and hot.

Tequila Cowboy

Local and national country artists perform live country music concerts at
Tequila Cowboy. Upcoming country act Sean Stemaly will open the show before national act Chris Lane on Thursday, August 8 at 7 p.m.

Listeners like Lane’s songs “Take Back Home Girl” and “I Don’t Know About You.”
Tequila Cowboy has a small dance floor, bar, and dining tables, which make it a wonderful place for both private and corporate events and bachelorette parties. Tequila Cowboy’s Sunday Brunch is every Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and has flapjack tacos, Nashville
chicken and gravy, and chicken waffle sliders. Other menu items at Tequila Cowboy include Pittsburgh steak salad and fish tacos.

The Foundry Table & Tap

Patrons get the feel of the farm at The Foundry, the only locally owned small business on the list. Food is made from scratch with ingredients sourced from local farms. Customers can sip specialty cocktails and dine on Salmon BLTs, poutine, and sirloin steak. Then, for dessert, Blood Orange Crème Brulee. Tuesday night is “Locals Night”: If you’re a Pittsburgh local and buy one entree, you get another one for half the price.
