The Carnegie Science Center will be closed to the public on Tuesdays starting Tuesday, Sept. 3 through the last Tuesday of April 2020. Exceptions are Dec. 31 and April 7, which fall on holiday weeks. Hours for the fall and winter season will be Wednesday through Monday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
According to Jason Brown, interim director for the Science Center, Tuesdays will be used
instead to maintain and repair exhibits, upkeep facilities, and host staff training and development programs.
The Science Center will return to being open seven days a week, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., in the summer season.
