Bids for public sidewalk & landscaping work for the Comfort Inn & Suites North Shore
Call for local contractor bids to do work on public sidewalk and landscaping for new hotel to open on East Ohio Street.
Bid packets available beginning September 24 and open walk through on October 3rd of the work site.

Arrakis, LLC (“Owner”) is requesting sealed bids for the work above, located at and around 820 East Ohio Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15212. Bids should be mailed or hand delivered to the attention of Chase Martin, General Manager, c/o the Priory Hotel, 614 Pressley Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15212 until October 11, 2019. Bids will be opened privately after the closing time for receipt of Bids.
Copies of Bid Packets will be available for pick up at the Front Desk of the Priory Hotel, 614 Pressley Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15212 beginning 9:00 a.m. on September 24, 2019. Owner shall conduct a property walk through with interested Bidders on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at 1:00 p.m.
Bids must be submitted on the forms provided, and completed in strict accordance with the instructions provided. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, in the form of a Certified Check or Corporate Surety Bid Bond, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid Proposal made in favor of Arrakis, LLC.
A Performance Bond, Labor & Material Payment Bond, & Maintenance Bond in the amounts specified within the Contract Documents will be required of the successful Bidder.
Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442. The Prevailing Wage Scale will be included in the Bid Specifications.
Bidders on the project will be required to comply with the terms of a certain contract for Multimodal Transportation Fund Grant dated November 27, 2017 between the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the North Side Leadership Conference. Copies of this Contract will be made available upon request.
Adherence to Instructions to Bidders is required.
No Bid or any part thereof shall be withdrawn by Bidder for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the Bid Opening.
The Owner reserved the right to award the Contract on the basis of the Base Bid or on the basis of the Base Bid and the Add-On.
The right is reserved by the Owner to reject any or all Bids or part of bids and to waive technical defects in any Bid.
