“Better Choices, Better Health” Program at Calvary United Methodist Church
This is a free six-week workshop designed for older adults with ongoing health issues. This event is open to all men and women of Calvary, as well as friends. Rev. Nettie Jorinda Bullitt will be co-teaching this course on Healthy Living, for people experiencing chronic health issues, or who are caring for someone with these issues. “Chronic health issues” is defined very broadly. Some will come because they have arthritis. You may have type 2 diabetes and want to join the group. You may be feeling a bit lonely now that you are retired, so you are welcome to come as well. People who have attended these classes in other places have given it high marks for content, and for the opportunity to gather with the same people for six weeks to form new friendships and to enjoy time together. The group will be meeting on Thursdays beginning September 26 thru Thursday, October 31 from 1:00-3:30pm. To register, please call the church office at 412-231-2007. Rev. Nettie Jorinda Bullitt (bullittrevnj@gmail.com) or Linda Ehrlich (laehrlich927@aol.com) can answer any questions you might have. Calvary is located at 971 Beech Ave., Pittsburgh, PA, 15233.
