In Your Business: Shop Small Edition
A casual happy-hour networking event for members and friends of the Chamber. Enjoy drinks and light fare while making connections. “This session will draw attention to the “Shop Small” movement, with small retail and restaurants attending for free and speaking briefly. Also, each attendee will receive a “Shop Small” tote bag and informational materials. And any attendee that signs a “Shop Small” pledge at the event will receive an extra drink ticket!” $15 for members, $25 for non-members. STEAM Carnival at the Children’s Museum
Today starts a two-day event hosted on the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh’s campus which offers an opportunity for regional Creatives of all ages to showcase innovative STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) projects while sparking a future community of lifelong learners. Good Friday at The Andy Warhol Museum
“For a more social experience, The Warhol Museum is open until 10 p.m. on Fridays and offers half-price museum admission and a cash bar beginning at 5 p.m.” More information available here.

2019 Baierl Subaru Share the Love® Event at Carnegie Science Center
“Humane Animal Rescue will visit the Science Center with some lovable free* pets available for adoption…! The animals will be at the Science Center from 10 am–4 pm. Shelter adoption policies and procedures apply. *There is a fee for adopting kittens and puppies. Normal adoption policy and procedures apply. Annual Sarma Dinner and Sale at CNH Javor
Dinners will be served from noon to 5 p.m. for $10 per plate. Includes two sarmas, mashed potatoes, vegetable, bread, and dessert. Take-out will be available. Pittsburgh FireWalk in Allegheny Commons Park
“Inspired by historic Autumn fireside traditions, the inaugural Pittsburgh FireWalk is a series of fire-lit carnivals produced by City of Play.” Long-time residents, curious students, local business owners, community organizations, and travelers of all types are invited to meet each other in the streets and celebrate the mythical thrill of an Autumn night by firelight.
