Storytime: Sensory Discoveries at Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh – Woods Run
See the book, hear the words, feel the story. Children with developmental disabilities will build early literacy skills by interacting with stories, songs and activities that engage all the senses. Big Band Jazz Conspiracy & Swing Dance Lessons at the Elks
The Big Band Swing with Beginner Swing Dance Lessons will be held at Allegheny Elks Lodge #339, located at 400 Cedar Avenue. Dance lessons will be given from 7:15 to 8:00 pm at no extra charge. The Jazz Conspiracy Big Band starts swinging at 8:00 pm. This event is open to the public. No dance experience or partner is required. This event is also great for folks who want to enjoy live music without dancing. This event is $10 general admission and $5 students with student ID at the door. Families are encouraged to attend. Good Friday at The Andy Warhol Museum

SkyWatch at Carnegie Science Center
“Visitors are invited to come to SkyWatch at the Henry Buhl, Jr. Planetarium & Observatory and get up-close and personal with amazing celestial objects. SkyWatch happens rain or shine. The evening begins with a virtual tour of the night sky in Buhl Planetarium. Afterward, visitors are welcome to enjoy additional planetarium programs, and if the skies are clear, head up to our observatory! Spot Saturn’s rings or details on the lunar surface through our 16-inch Meade LX200 Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope, and chat with our team of expert stargazers.” This program is offered at both 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. More information is available here.

Youth Drop-off Workshop: Embroidered Tees at MuseumLab
“Grab a needle and thread and create beautiful designs for your tees with embroidery. This is a drop-off workshop for youth ages 10+ that takes place in our new building, MuseumLab.
