Concerning the killing of deer in Riverview Park

Many years ago someone shot a deer with a bow and arrow about a half mile from my home. The deer died in agony in my front yard. I had to bury it because the hunter didn’t know where it was. It was the most horrible thing I ever saw.

Deer hunting is the deliberate infliction of suffering to one of the most beautiful creatures on Earth. I urge all in the city government to halt this cowardly and barbaric hunting in our city parks.
